COURTESY VISIT BY SINGAPORE HIGH COMMISSION, KUALA LUMPUR TO MALAYSIAN NUCLEAR AGENCY 13 JUNE 2025
BANGI, 13 Jun 2025 - The Malaysian Nuclear Agency (Nuklear Malaysia) received a courtesy call from the Singapore High Commission, Kuala Lumpur led by Mr. Shivakumar Nair, Deputy High Commissioner of Singapore on 13 June 2025. The courtesy call was aimed at exploring the potential for bilateral cooperation between Singapore and Nuklear Malaysia on the peaceful use of nuclear energy and nuclear technology.
The discussions during the courtesy call were chaired by YBrs. Dr. Rosli bin Darmawan, Director General, Nuklear Malaysia and were also attended by Senior Management and representatives from the Planning and International Relations Division, Technical Support Division and Reactor Technology Centre.
The discussion also covered nuclear technology and facilities available at Nuklear Malaysia, including various products that have been produced through the application of nuclear technology. During the session, Nuklear Malaysia also offered Singapore the opportunity to participate in a training program in the field of nuclear research reactors operated by Nuclear Malaysia.
