Q: Does Agensi Nuklear Malaysia provide industrial training program for university/college students like me?
A: Yes, Agensi Nuklear Malaysia (Nuklear Malaysia) does provide industrial training program for local university/college students, and priority is given to students from public higher education institution (IPTA).
Q: What are the fields offered if I wish to undergo industrial training in Agensi Nuklear Malaysia?
A: The fields being offered are as follows:
- Advanced Material & Advanced Manufacturing
- Environment & Waste
- Radiopharmacy & Biopharmacy
- Natural Bioresources-based Products
- Medical Imaging
- Renewable Energy
- Plant Structure & Integrity
- Industrial Crop, including Mutagenesis, Plant Biotechnology, Ornamental & Agronomy aspects
- Natural & Synthetic Polymers
- Engineering Development for Research Reactor
- Radiation Safety
- Alternative Electricity Generation Using Nuclear Power
- Nanotechnology & Nanomaterial
However, other fields not listed are also considered, depending on the current needs/requirements.
Q: To whom should I forward my application to undergo industrial training in Agensi Nuklear Malaysia?
A: You should either mail or email an official support letter from your university/institution together with your resume/CV to:

Successful applicants will be informed of placement by Agensi Nuklear Malaysia.
Q: Will I receive monthly allowances, and/or accommodation and transportation facilities?
A: For the time being, Agensi Nuklear Malaysia does not provide monthly allowance in accordance with Internal Government Circular of Agensi Nuklear Malaysia (Pekeliling Ketua Pengarah Bil. 2/2009). Agensi Nuklear Malaysia also does not provide accommodation and transportation facilities.
Q: If my application to undergo industrial training in Agensi Nuklear Malaysia is successful, can I withdraw?
A: Yes, you can. You should inform Human Capital Division (BSM) in writing or email to hazirah[at]nuclearmalaysia.gov.my. Any intention to send in a replacement can also be included in the letter/mail.
