NUKLEAR MALAYSIA PARTICIPATED IN 2023 KEMBARA MAHKOTA JOHOR

MUAR, AUG 7TH, 2023: In conjunction with the 2023 Kembara Mahkota Johor, which was held at the Ayer Hitam North State Park Forest Muar, Nuklear Malaysia was invited by the Muar District Office, Johor, to participate in the departure of His Royal Highness Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar to Muar District.

 

 

Nuklear Malaysia has put on exhibitions in this program, which concentrates on agricultural products as well as the development and research of new crop breeds, such as the inbreeding of IS21 paddy varieties, the study of the cultured tissue of the Nepenthes x sultan-ibrahimii, variety of pitcher plant, and the creation of a new breed of Malaysian mushrooms.

 

On this occasion, Ts. Dr. Azhar Bin Mohamad, Director of the Agrotechnology & Bioscience Division, and Dr. Sobri Bin Hussein briefed Major General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, His Royal Highness Crown Prince of Johor, on the application of nuclear technology in the research and development of new crop varieties that are able to increase yields and can be applied in agriculture, particularly in Muar District.
