The RCA Program is financed by the IAEA Technical Assistance ad Co-operation Fund(TACF) under the IAEA technical Co-operation Program, extra-budgetary resources from Member States and other donors. A major donor is the United Nation Development Program (UNDP). In addition, Member States provide in-kind contributions to the RCA Program in the form of hosting events and assuming the local costs, providing experts, equipment and other resources. A notable example of such projects is the implementation of four joint UNDP/RCA/IAEA Projects from 1997. The most recent is the project on Better Management of the Environment, Natural Resources and Industrial Growth through Isotopes and Radiation Technology.
