            In the quest to reduce green house gases  and dependency on fossil fuel, the world is now looking to nuclear energy. The global nuclear renaissance will bring about nuclear expansion beyond 14% of the current total worldwide electricity generation not only through increased capacity among the existing nuclear power countries but also the move to go nuclear in many other nations. Even through nuclear power is very attractive, its introduction and expansion is not that straightforward and must be taken with caution. Nuclear power is indeed a complex industry. Many factors and requirements encompassing from cradle to grave and beyond should be considered. The INC'09 is aimed at exposing these factors, requirements and related issues with the hope that these subjects can be discussed openly for the benefit of everyone. A number of experts with knowledge, skill and experiences in various aspects relating to nuclear power industry have been invited and they can share their ideas and views with those new comers in this field. At the same time this event can initiate establishments of new network of who's who in the nuclear power industry and related fields for various services, consultations, assistance and advice. All those involved and interested in nuclear power and related subjects are invited to attend. Let together make INC'09 our event that will provide the right path towards a successful nuclear power program. INC'09 is expected to be inaugurated by the R.H. Prime Minister of Malaysia.
