OBJECTIVE -
i. To generate new products, processes and technologies that are capable of improving industrial productivity and plant safety through research and innovation in line with the national development agenda

ii. To generate new products, processes and technologies that help to improve the ability for effective management of environment through research and innovation in line with the national agenda

iii. To contribute toward achieving the target for MINT income generation of 30% of operating budget through commercialization and transfer of technology
iv. To produce technical expertise of the right quality that are recognized nationally and internationally
